Changes to the Handbook
In the last few months the Institute for the Study of the Americas in conjunction with the Joint Initiative for the Study of Latin America and the Caribbean (JISLAC) have been working to update the information contained within the handbook.
- Registration: users are now able to register with the Handbook and add / edit their own records. To do so please click on the 'Register' button in the menu to the left.
- Errors and omissions: Please check your entry(s) in the Handbook and let us know if there are any errors or omissions (email: christy.palmer@sas.ac.uk)

If you have not already submitted your information to the Handbook, you can now do so by using the 'Register' button in the menu to the left of this text, and then once verified as registered (you will receive an email to that effect), you can log in and amend/submit your details.

Welcome to the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Research portal, which offers a searchable directory of Latin American and Caribbean Studies research resources in the UK. The site displays lists of academic staff, thesis in progress or completed in Latin American and / or Caribbean Studies and UK universities that run courses that focus on Latin America and / or the Caribbean.
If any of the information contained in this database is out of date or incorrect, please advise us via Americas@sas.ac.uk so that we can change it.
